Eirados White Port, Portugal

Originally known as the Quinta Santa Eufemia, the Eirados Douro estate was established in 1864 by Bernardo Rodrigues de Carvalho. The winery is on the site of a Roman grain store or ‘eirado’.

All wines produced are from the family’s own 50 hectares of vines and are based on Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and other traditional varieties. Open ‘lagars’ are used for the crush.

Eirados Fine White Port is golden yellow in colour, fruity, complex, fresh sweet with nuts, vanilla and honey.
Serve this Port chilled as an aperitif and with soft cheeses, nuts, foie gras or a sweet fruit dessert. Also great for making cocktails like Porto Tonico.
