Domaine de la Chaise Touraine Blanc, Loire Valley, France

Aromatic and expressive Sauvignon Blanc, opening with pineapple, passion fruit and white orchard fruit alongside grapefruit and a delicate green-herbal note. The palate is rounded on entry but remains fresh and well balanced, with citrus brightness, a touch of mineral tension and a long, fragrant finish. Grown on clay-siliceous slopes near Saint-Georges-sur-Cher; the juice is gently pressed, fermented at cool temperatures and matured on fine lees for added texture.
