Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre Rouge, Sancerre, Loire Valley, France

An elegant Loire Valley Pinot Noir with inviting aromas of red cherry, raspberry and delicate woodland notes. The palate is light and finely textured, with vivid red-berry fruit, supple tannins and fresh acidity giving a graceful, lifted finish. The Pinot Noir is fermented in vat with regular pumping over to extract colour and flavour, then matured for around a year in oak barrels, lending gentle savoury complexity without masking the fruit.
