Idun Trois Cailloux Red Blend, Bot River, South Africa

Trois Cailloux is yet another vinous exploration of the Bot River area in the Cape South Coast, South Africa. The name comes from the selection of cultivars assembled to perfection. Syrah led with Mourvedre and Grenache playing a supporting role.

Deep ruby red with a violet rim. Showing aromas of ripe currants, forest floor and tea leaf caressed by the spicy flavours of white pepper and coriander. Complex concentrated fruits, medium bodied with dense but silky tannins. Drink now but will further improve in the next 2 to 3 years.
