For the Cherry Cream with 18% alcohol content, the cherries are macerated in a water-alcohol solution for more than two months. Edmond Briottet specifically employ Morello cherries for their acidity, which is ideal in a liqueur.

You can drink it on its own, with ice, or with a dry or sparkling white wine.
