Marrone Nebiolo d’Alba DOC Superiore ‘Agrestis’, Italy

Ruby red colour with an orange rim. The nose offers some wood, dry spices, red fruit, cherry liqueur and tar. The palate is fairly dense, with a youthful texture, a tannic bite, good grip and length, deserving another few years of ageing. Ideal food pairing is pasta with meat sauce, sausages and cheese.

Old vineyards that give an intense and personal Nebbiolo. This well known grape is the father of the Barolo. Drinkable in shorter time compared to a Barolo, with great satisfaction, but versatile. It can be aged for many years.
