Coonawarra is home to some of Australia’s most famous vineyards and this particular wine from Yalumba is named after Coonawarra’s unique cigar-shaped strip of rich red terra rossa soil.
Aromas of Satsuma plum, liquorice, dark berries and heady violets. The palate is rich and supple, showing great depth and structure – think flavours of dark blueberry, dried herbs and bitter chocolate on the finish. Enjoy now or cellar for seven to ten years. Pair with barbecued lamb loin chops, or mushroom, tomato and basil lasagne. Suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.
