Established in 1982 by Richard and Jill McIntyre, Moorooduc Estate is a small, family run wine business that has developed an enviable reputation for complex and food friendly wines. They use wild yeast ferments and minimal intervention winemaking with a nod to traditional Burgundian techniques.
Bright aromas of red and black cherry, wild sage, thyme and bay leaf with mushroom and soy savouriness. On the palate, intense, velvety tannins balance dark cherry fruit, dark chocolate and rich earthy savoury notes. Drink now with roast duck and cherry sauce, or a medium rare fillet steak with horseradish!
