Château d’Arsac is one of the older properties in the Medoc area of Bordeaux with a history dating back almost 1,000 years to the 12th century. The previous Château on this site was destroyed during the French Revolution with the current Château built in the 1830’s. The estate actually takes its name from the commune of Arsac, where the Château’s vineyards are located.
Château D’Arsac’s wine is full of flavour with aromas of dark fruit, cassis, rose, and spice with dark fruit on the palate and structured tannins. Wonderful with game, lamb, duck, pork, beef and veal. Allow decanting 1 hour prior to serving for the wine to open up and realise its wonderful aromas!
